Belarusian Consumer Prices Increased 1.1% in October

Prices rose 7.9% in January-October 2010, compared with 8.3% in January-October 2009.
In annualized terms, that is, October on October, consumer prices rose 9.8%, which compares to 11.04% in the period October 2008 through October 2009.
Food prices rose 1.9% in October 2010 and 9.6% in January-October 2010, non-food prices went up 0.4% and 6.6%, and consumer services prices increased 0.1% and 5.6%.
In 2009, inflation accelerated 10.1%. The forecast for 2010 stands at 9%-10%.
