OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2010. The European Union implemented 12 projects in different areas in the amount to EUR 4.5 million euros for the last five years in Moldova. It was said at the press conference that the border cooperation projects were implemented within the Romania-Moldova Neighborhood Program with the financial assistance of the EU.

According to the EU official representatitives, the projects were implemented on the local level in the following sectors: infrastructure rehabilitation, improvement of transport services and others.

In 2007-2013 Moldova could participate in another 13 regional programs of the European Union.
