OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2010. Sberbank of Russia holds a Meeting with leaders of territorial and primary trade unions. Trade unions of 19 territorial banks participated in the Meeting. Subsidiary banks of Sberbank Group were represented by the delegation of the united trade union of JSC "BPS-Bank" (V.V. Grek, A.V. Berezhnykh), reported the press-centre of BPS-Bank.

G.O. Gref, President of Sberbank of Russia, delivered a speech at the plenary session on the role of trade unions in economic development of the bank, social protection of its employees and their families.

President of Sberbank noted that cooperation of administration and trade unions shall contribute to establishment of partnership and constructive relations between staff members, friendly work atmosphere, favourable conditions and guarantees for everybody to prove one's talents, and to high quality and efficient labour results.

V.V. Grek, Chairman of the United Trade Union Committee of JSC "BPS-Bank" delivered a speech on organization of trade union movement in the Republic of Belarus and JSC "BPS-Bank".

In the course of talks with heads of Trade Union Committee of the United Russian Trade Union of employees of Sberbank of Russia, it was agreed to establish a joint body to coordinate the activities of trade unions in Sberbank of Russia and JSC "BPS-Bank".
