OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2010. Aeroflot has been pronounced one of the 50 “dream employers for young specialists” according to the ‘Aktsiya. Kariera’ newspaper, reported the press-centre of Aeroflot.

The companies were rated according to the results of the survey carried out among students, graduates and young specialists with a job experience of less than 2 years; all in all 2525 people took part in the survey.

What differs this rating from other ones is that respondents were not offered any previously compiled list of companies. They were supposed to come up with the name of the company they would like to work for themselves. To understand how the respondents made decisions the pollsters asked the interviewed to list their evaluation criteria, to single out the most promising industry for moving up the carrier ladder, to state their entry level salary aspirations as well as to indicate whether they were willing to work within their field of training. According to the rating data analysis, the main reasons why students and young specialists have chosen Aeroflot is the chance to get promoted, the scale of salaries and job security.

Apart from Aeroflot, which ranks 43th in the survey, the list of “dream employers” does not include any other Russian or foreign airlines. Of all the giants of the transportation industry only Russian Railways featured in the rating.
