OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2010. At its scheduled meeting the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank received an update on preparations for the adoption of the euro. In addition, the Supervisory Board was given an overview of the current situation of and outlooks for the Estonian financial sector and the economy in general, reported the press-centre of Eesti Pank.

The Supervisory Board approved Eesti Pank's Eurosystem symbols. In addition, the Supervisory Board received an overview of the central bank's 2011 draft budget. Eesti Pank will publish it after Governor will have approved it in mid-December.

The Supervisory Board approved the Internal Audit Department's work schedule for the next year. In addition, AS Deloitte Audit Eesti was appointed the external auditor of the central bank's annual accounts for the next five years (2011-2015).

The next regular meeting of the Supervisory Board of Eesti Pank will be held on 15 February 2011.
