Over 1 000 000 Moldovans Choose Moldcell
OREANDA-NEWS. December 10, 2010. The number of subscribers of the mobile operator Moldcell exceeded 1 million! On December 7th this year the whole Moldcell team headed by the General Manager, Mr. Chiril Gaburici, and Vice President of TeliaSonera Eurasia, Mr. Halim Ates, greeted the 1 000 000th subscriber in Moldcell family.
The lucky subscriber is Denis Pelin, a young 29 year old man from Ungheni who bought Abonament Moldcell in November to make a present to his wife Daniela. Accompanied by his wife, friends and family, Denis Pelin was greatly surprised to learn that he would get a valuable gift from the operator as a sign of appreciation – a BMW car.
Denis Pelin: „I have been Moldcell subscriber for 8 years. Recently I got married and made a present to my wife - connection to Abonament Moldcell. We are a family, so it is much easier, more comfortable and efficient to also be part of the same “mobile family”. When we were invited to the company, I thought there was organized a campaign or a contest, I would never believe I could be the subscriber who would mark the transition of the operator to the second million of clients. The prize made me speechless. I am very happy!”
Newlyweds are convinced that number 10 is lucky for their family: they got to know each other on the 10th day of a month, they married on 10.10.10, Moldcell company, their mobile operator, celebrated 10th anniversary this year, etc.

After opening a bottle of champagne and making a drive test of the new car, Pelin family, together with Moldcell General Manager and the Vice President of TeliaSonera Eurasia, decorated the last letter of the word MILION in the park of the company with purple stones. This ceremony symbolized the first million in Moldcell subscribers’ database and opening of a new chapter in the activity of the company.
