OREANDA-NEWS. December 9, 2010. A reconstructed Gazprom Neft gas station was reopened in Omsk. The station was assigned number 19 in honor of one of the best Continental Hockey League forwards and the Omsk Avangard leaders Anton Kuryanov wearing the same number. This is the second Omsk named gas station with the first one opened under number 68 in honor or Jaromir Jagr in August.

"I take the offer of Gazprom Neft to name the gas station after my name as both a great honor and a high responsibility to a certain extent. I hope that the number of gas stations named after the Omsk hawks will grow, and these will be the names of the winners", - Anton Kuryanov mentioned. The hockeyist presented his autographed hockey jersey number 19 to the gas station, where all the customers have a chance to take a look at it.

Gazprom Neft sponsors the Avangard Hockey Club and boosts the regional programs for the development of sports, especially children's and juvenile sports.

The Omsk Region is one of Gazprom Neft's largest marketing regions. In September 2009, Omsk launched the project for Gazprom Neft's gas stations network rebranding and opened the first renovated gas station under the brand of Gazprom Neft.
