OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2010. World Bank has funded 25 projects in Moldova in the total amount of USD 613.4 million, having provided USD 436.7 million for their implementation. It was said during the meeting of acting President Mihai Ghimpu with the WB Regional Director for Moldova, Ukraine and Belarus Martin Reiser and the director of the WB Office in Moldova Melanie Marlett.

The portfolio of projects implemented by the WB is wide and stipulates support to development of health care and social assistance services, investments in agriculture development, energy, road building, environment protection, high-quality education, public finance management, public administration reforms.
