2010 November Inflation Makes 0,6% in Moldova
OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2010. The inflation rate for the last 12 months (from November 2009 through November 2010) was 7.7%, according to the National Statistics Office. Particularly, foodstuffs rose in price by 1.2% in November, non-food products – by 0.6%, fees for services provided to the population remained on the previous month’s level.
Prices for foodstuffs increased by 5% for 11 months of this year, for non-food goods – by 6.2%, fees for services rendered to the population rose by 9.5%. The biggest rise in price in November among foodstuffs was seen by sunflower oil – by 9.7%, vegetables – by 9.4%. At the same time, sugar became 8.3% less expensive, dietic eggs – 5% less expensive, soft drinks – 3%, fresh fruit – 2.9%. Fuel in November rose in price by 1.2%, particularly, coal – by 2.6%.
Prices for clothes and shoes increased by 0.8% both. At the same time, prices for telephones reduced by 0.5%. According to the National Statistics Office, fees for foreign tourism services reduced in November by 1.3%, passenger transporation – by 0.1%. Air flights became 2.7% cheaper, railway transportation – 1.1% cheaper.
