OREANDA-NEWS. December 09, 2010. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov met with the representatives of employers' organizations led by the chairman of the Joint representative body of employers at national level Dmitry Firtash and the chairman of the Federation of Employers of Ukraine Dmytro Oliynyk.

The sides discussed the state and prospects of implementation of systemic reforms initiated by the President of Ukraine.

"It is important that in the country's reforming to form a permanent constructive dialogue with civil society institutions and among the first - with the employers" - Mykola Azarov emphasized.
The Prime Minister designated the Minister of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine Anatoly Tolstoukhov responsible for the dialogue with the Employers' Federation.

The representatives of employers, companies, which provide over two thirds of GDP and hold more than half of the jobs in Ukraine appreciate the Tax Code and systemic reforms in general.

"We understand that the burden of reform is very difficult, but also we understand that one cannot prevent the bankruptcy of the country. So we are ready for the responsibility of the reforms to take"- Dmitry Firtash said.

Both sides agreed to monitor the tax reform implementation and make the necessary suggestion regarding the Tax Code provisions adjustment, which would be determined by practice.

"We are interested in the Tax Code implementation taking place with minimal problems, so we constantly listen to offers of practitioners and experts, public" - the Prime Minister of Ukraine underlined. He also asked the employers to give suggestions for deregulation of business, eliminating extortion by mindless permits and approvals, to eliminate corruption. Moreover, Mykola Azarov suggested employers to make an analysis of the labour market: what kind of professional training in which number is required for the real economy sector now and in future, based on the business plans of our employers: "We welcome information and suggestions."

In turn, employers have expressed their willingness to participate in creating and implementing a national job training and adult education, subordinated to the needs of economic modernization.

The Prime Minister instructed to include the representatives of employers in all the working groups, coordinating councils involved in preparation and implementation of reforms, legislation improvement.

In addition, the employers will be involved in business forums where the initiator or organizer will be the State.
