OREANDA-NEWS. December 8, 2010. In April 2010 ZAO Expert RA filed suit in the Moscow Court of Arbitration in defence of its business reputation (see that agency’s press release dated 22.04.2010, www.raexpert.ru/news/show/2490 – text in Russian) following publication of an interview with RusRating General Director Richard Hainsworth on the website Bankir.Ru (“Let Them Check Us All Out”). Mr. Hainsworth, ZAO RusRating and LLC  Bankir.Ru were all named as defendants.

The initial court case concluded in August 2010 with a ruling in Expert RA’s favour. The defendants, however, were not satisfied with this result and filed an appeal with the Ninth Moscow Appeals Court of Arbitration.

On 23 November 2010 that court upheld the appeal, overturning in its entirety the original ruling against RusRating and Bankir.Ru.

The defendants are satisfied with this ruling.
