The UX rose 0.66% in yesterday’s session to 2,194.62. Total equity turnover was UAH 143.6 mln. The top two names by volume were Ukrnafta (UNAF UK), up 0.22% on UAH 21.9 mln, and Ukrtelecom (UTLM UK), up 3.05% on UAH 21.4 mln. The best performer was Luhanskteplovoz (LTPL UK), which rose 10.76%, and Kryukiv Wagon (KVBZ UK), which picked up 4.23%. Most stocks in the UX index posted gains except Stirol (STIR UK), down 1.07%; Zakhidenergo (ZAEN UK), down 0.42%; and Raiffeisen Bank Aval (BAVL UK), down 0.20%. On the interbank forex market, the Ukrainian hryvnya closed at UAH/USD 7.954.
