On Tuesday, Dec 7, the UX index ended 0.66% up, or 14.31 ppt, at 2,194.62 ppt. Total equity turnover was UAH 171.1mn. Most sectors closed with gains. Steel makers went up 1.1% as ENMZ (plus 2.39%) advanced notably on corporate news. Banks were mixed climbing 0.5% by the end of the day. Within the sector USCB (plus 1.42%) supported the sector. Gencos went up 0.3% with CEEN advancing 0.20%. Among individual names LTPL skyrocketed 10.76% on the UAH 4.4mn. STIR was the worst performer declining 1.07% on UAH 5.6mn. On the foreign exchanges Kulczyk Oil surged 7.1%. MHP (plus 3.5%) was also positive while Kernel went down 1.8%. Regal (-3.2%) was again in the red.
