OREANDA-NEWS. December 07, 2010. “Peterburg” ferry moored at the 1st berth of the railway ferry complex in the seaport of Ust-Luga, reported the press-centre of Rosmorport.

45 railway cars and 7 Ro-Ro items were transported by the ferry during its first voyage.

“Peterburg” is the second ferry on Ust-Luga – Baltiysk line, which was put on the route due to excessive demand for cargo transportation between Russian main territory and Kaliningrad Region. Blacksea Ferry & Investments Ltd is the operator of the ferry.

“Peterburg” is supposed to make 2 voyages a week in near future.
