Russian Inflation Reaches 0.8% in November 2010
OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2010. Prices for food products increased by an average 1.4%, or by 1% net of fruits and vegetables. Non-foods became 0.7% more expensive, while prices for services added on 0.2% in November. Average inflation was 0.8% (8% YTD) in Moscow and 0.9% (8.1% YTD) in St. Petersburg.
Four regions showed CPI rate above 1.2%. The areas with the quickest inflation were Kursk and Lipetsk Regions, where prices jumped 1.6%, following an upsurge in service prices, up 4.4% and 4.2%, respectively.
