OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2010. The government of Azerbaijan has taken steps to prevent rise in prices for bread in the local market.

The Azerbaijan Cabinet Ministers informs that by Decision #231 from 3 December it made additions to Decision #11 from 31 January 2005 on the list of the goods exempted from VAT for imports.

Under the new decision, the list was added wheat and meslin (commodity group with code 1001), and wheat flour (1101 00).

The fresh Decision comes into effect from 1 January 2011.
