Turkmen Exchange Concluded 44 Transactions
OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2010. 44 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
The transactions in the foreign currency were concluded for various products. Businessmen from United States, the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, the British territory and the Virgin Islands bought liquefied gas, TC-1 aviation kerosene, polypropylene, hydrotreated diesel fuel and L-0.2-62 diesel fuel produced at Turkmenbashi oil refineries. Buyers from the UAE, Denmark and Afghanistan concluded the transactions for M-100 fuel oil, L-0.9-62 and L-0.5-92 diesel fuel produced at Seydi oil refinery. Ginned cotton and cotton lint was bought by businessmen from Switzerland and China, terry and gray clothes, yarn, one-coloured and jacquard towels, licorice extract, denim waste were bought by businessmen from Russia, the United States, Ukraine and Turkey, cylinder wagons – by businessmen from Latvia. The transactions concluded in the foreign currency totaled over USD 121.274 million.
The transactions in deposit manats were concluded for raw silk, cotton yarn, gray cloth, cotton cake, cotton wool, cotton soap stock, cattle skin of various types, raw fatty acids, cotton flake, dyed terry articles including napkins, towels, bedsheets. The transactions concluded in deposit manats totaled over 8.55 million manats.
Turkmen businessmen bought polypropylene to the sum of 39,900 manats.
