OREANDA-NEWS. December 06, 2010. Regional conflict resolution commissions were first created in the framework of councils for interaction with suppliers and contractors of TNK-BP for improving the system of relationships with contractors and enhancing the transparence of company activities, reported the press-centre of TNK-BP.

The functions of conflict resolution commissions include settlement of controversies and disputes, consideration of complaints and grievances from suppliers and contractors related to pre-qualification, selection of contractors and other issues, and handling of contractors’ complaints related to their disqualification.

All contractors may address conflict resolution commissions by filling a special form published on the company website, no matter which enterprise of the TNK-BP Group they work with.

TNK-BP is consistently implementing the strategy of raising the efficiency of interaction and cooperation with its partners all over the country. The first forum of TNK-BP suppliers and contractors, which announced the creation of councils and conflict resolution commissions, was held on September 24, 2010 in Moscow.

The main functions of the councils are convention of forums for direct dialogs of the Company with suppliers and contractors, enhancement of the efficiency of contractual work, explanation of the principles and practices of interaction and cooperation to contractors, and detection and prevention of violations of these principles and practices.

A filled complaint form must be emailed to the secretary of the respective regional conflict resolution commission for consideration and handling (see the table “Contacts of the Secretaries of Councils and Conflict Resolution Commissions”).
