OREANDA-NEWS. December 3, 2010. Work on planning for development of electronic (digital) land-cadastral maps of administrative areas is underway in Azerbaijan.

Garib Mammadov, the head of the State Committee for Land and Cartography, says that the work is carried out within the State Program on Reliable Food Security of Azerbaijan in 2008-15.

"Currently, 14 districts of the country are covered by works on the development of electronic (digital) maps of land cadastre. Work on development of electronic land-cadastral maps of 50 administrative-territorial districts is under way as well," he emphasized.
