OREANDA-NEWS. December 3, 2010. Svyazinvest has filed a motion in court demanding that CenterTelecom, UTK, Sibirtelecom and Far East Telecom hold extraordinary  general shareholders meetings (EGMs) with the following agenda:

1)      On the premature termination of members of the Board of Directors;

2)      On election of members of the Board of Directors.

The current legislation allows Svyazinvest to order companies by judicial procedure to hold such meetings, since they failed to convene the boards of directors of CenterTelecom, UTK,  Sibirtelecom and Far East Telecom, despite Svyazinvest’s legitimate request as the majority shareholder.
