OREANDA-NEWS. December 2, 2010. EuroChem has allocated over RUB 3 million for an emergency control program at Secondary School No.2 and RUB 7.5 million for capital repairs at the Kolokolchik municipal kindergarten in Kotelnikovo to improve conditions at these children’s institutions.

Repairs for the kindergarten can be qualified as rehabilitation, as the institution has not been functioning for a long time and its building has been used by third parties. Once repairs are complete, the kindergarten will admit 120 children. This is a significant event for a city with a population of 20,000.

Social interaction between EuroChem and the Kotelnikovo District Administration dates back to 2006. Since that time, the Company has equipped a chemistry lab in one of the municipal schools, and has partnered with the Administration to construct a sports and recreation center, repair a memorial to Afghan War veterans, install a Fighter Aircraft monument, and construct children’s playgrounds in some rural settlements of the district.
