OREANDA-NEWS. December 2, 2010. In 2010 EuroChem’s agricultural businesses added considerably to their sales of fertilizers, seeds and chemical crop protection agents in Russia’s domestic market. The EuroChem Agricultural Network is comprised of 26 distribution centers, 6 of which are owned by the company. Mineral fertilizer sales have risen by 8.3% against the same period of 2009. A total of over 1,400,000 tons of fertilizers will be sold by the Company in 2010.

Seed sales have grown by 200%, while crop protection chemicals have gained a 92% worth year-on-year.

These efforts will assist Russian agricultural producers in preparing for the 2011 sowing and raising soil fertility and future harvests.

The EuroChem Agricultural Network is comprised of 26 distribution centers, 6 of which are owned by the company. Their results are included in the Distribution section of the company’s financial reports. This section also includes the results of one distribution center outside of the Russian Federation (Kiev, Ukraine).
