OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2010. The Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS Russia) is considering a petition of “INTER RAO UES” OJSC (location: entrance 7, 12 Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment, Moscow, the Russian Federation, 123610) for acquiring 100% voting shares of “Altaienergosbyt” OJSC (location: 75B, Krasnoarmeisky Pr., Barnaul, the Altai region, the Russian Federation, 656049), reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Governed by Clause 2 Part 2 Article 33 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, FAS Russia considered the petition of “INTER RAO UES” OJSC and extended the period for petition consideration for two months in order to additional examine the petition, as the petitioned transaction can restrict competition, particularly, as a result of development or strengthening dominant position of the person in question (the group of person).
