OREANDA-NEWS. December 02, 2010. Particularly, the average monthly salary in the real sector for 10 months of 2010 totaled 3,130.6 leis, in the public sector – 2,526 leis, it was informed at the National Statistics Office.

In both cases, the indicators grew by 7.9 percent in comparison with the same period last year. In particular, the average monthly salary in economy in October of this year was 2,957 leis, up 10.1% against October last year. In the real sector, it rose by 11.1% - to 3,210.3 leis, in the public sector – by 7.4%, to 2,507.2 leis.

The lowest average monthly salaries in January-October 2010 were earned by those working in agriculture and forestry – 1,528.1 leis, pisciculture – 1,503.1 leis, education – 2,351 leis, health care and social assistance – 2,816.9 million.

At the same time, the highest salaries were earned by employees of the banking-financial sector – 6,131.1 leis, enterprises supplying electricity, heating, natural gas, water – 4,779.1 leis, transport and communication enterprise – 3,872 leis.
