OREANDA-NEWS. December 1, 2010. Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies – Heineken Breweries, in the Mogilev Region, and Rechitsapivo, in the Gomel Region – registered a 69% increase in output in January-October 2010 from previous January-September to 7.398 million decaliters, Belarus’ food concern Belgospischeprom said in a statement.

Heineken Breweries’ output rose 86.7% on the year to 6.498 million decaliters, while Rechitsapivo’s output increased 0.3% to 900,000 decaliters because of a large-scale reconstruction.

In October alone, the two breweries’ beer production increased 36.9% on the year to 636,800 decaliters. Heineken Breweries’ output rose 110% on September 2009 to 754,100 decaliters, and Rechitsavipo produced 82,700 decaliters of beer, up 17.3%.

Heineken Breweries made 4.954 million decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-October, up 87.4%, and 1.491 million decaliters in glass bottles, up 84.6%. Beer output in kegs reached 52,600 decaliters.

Rechitsapivo produced 668,000 decaliters of beer in plastic bottles in January-October 2010, up 15.6%, and 108,800 decaliters in glass bottles, down 18.2%. Beer offering in kegs fell 33.8% to 123,200 decaliters.

The two breweries delivered 6.88 million decaliters of beer to the retail network in January-October 2010, up 64.3% on the year.

Exports by Belarus’ affiliates of Heineken group of companies hiked 300% on the year in January-October to 394,700 decaliters, 353,200 decaliters by Heineken Breweries, up 10.3 times, and 41,500 decaliters by Rechitsapivo, down 36.1%.
