OREANDA-NEWS. December 01, 2010. Under Article 28 of No.135-FZ Federal Law “On Protection of Competition” of 26th July 2006, FAS Russia received a petition of “BIAXPLEN” Ltd. (location: 17, Administrativnaya St., Hydrotorf Village, Balakhninsky District, Nizhniy Novgorod Region, 650021) submitted a petition for consideration of FAS Russia on acquiring the rights that allow “NOVATEK-POLYMER” Ltd. (location: 1, Zheleznodorozhny, Novokuibyshevsk, Samara region, 446201) exercising functions of an executive body, reported the press-centre of FAS Russia.

Governed by Article 33 of the Federal Law “On Protection of Competition”, the Federal Antimonopoly Service extended the period for petition for two months in order to obtain additional information necessary to make a decision.

Interested persons can submit information to the antimonopoly authority as to how the transaction can affect the state of competition.
