Turkmen Exchange Concluded 60 Transactions
OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2010. 60 transactions were concluded at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Businessmen from the United Arab Emirates, Afghanistan, Cyprus and the Virgin Islands bought gasoline of various types, base oil and low-sulphur reduced fuel oil produced at Turkmenbashi oil refineries. Stove gasoline and diesel fuel produced at Seydi oil refinery were bought by businessmen from Afghanistan and Denmark. The transaction concluded in the foreign currency for ginned cotton, terry cloth and articles, laundry soap, washed wool, cattle skin. The buyer countries: the United Kingdom, Turkey, Switzerland, Afghanistan, Liechtenstein, Russia and Kazakhstan. The contracts totalled over USD 133.13 million.
Businessmen from the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Iran, India, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Hong Kong and the Virgin Islands bought refined cottonseed oil, cotton yarn, cattle skin, confectioneries, dyed terry articles, raw silk, textile waste and cotton waste, semi-products wet blue and cotton flake for deposit manats. The transactions in deposit manats were concluded to the sum of over 19.049 manats.
