OREANDA-NEWS. November 30, 2010. Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company indemnified its corporate client a total loss of UAH 192,923 for the two vehicles insured under the Formula motor hull insurance program. A loss event involving the MAN TGA 18.430 tractor truck occurred on the highway Znamianka-Ternopil-Stryi. Being blinded by the high beams, the driver lost control of the vehicle and it drove to the side of the road and turned over. As a result of the traffic accident, the insured vehicle got damage of the right side of the driver compartment, the wind screen, the right door and the fuel tank. The insurance indemnity for the damaged vehicle totaled to UAH 141,218. A loss event involving another MAN TGA 18.430 tractor truck occurred on the highway Odessa-Dmytrievsk. Through a sudden braking of the vehicle in front, the driver of the insured tractor truck drove to the oncoming traffic line, but failed to avoid the collision with the car in front. As a result of the traffic accident, the left side of the insured vehicle got serious damage and deformation, as well as the cistern carried by the tractor truck. Allianz Ukraine Insurance Company paid out to the truck owner an insurance indemnity of UAH 51,705.
