OREANDA-NEWS. November 29, 2010. A ceremony to launch an aerated autoclaved concrete products manufacturing plant was held in the Saratov region.

The plant construction project was carried out by LLC GRAS-Saratov with Vnesheconombank’s participation. VEB committed funds to finance the project in the amount of 1.4 billion rubles. The project’s total value is 2.2 billion rubles.

The plant’s capacity is 450 thousand cubic meters of gas-concrete products per year. The plant’s advanced equipment is in line with all ecological requirements and standards. The plant manufactures ecologically clean products and they will be in demand in constructing residential and public buildings.

The project was carried out with the support of the Governor and the Government of the Saratov region. The plant would create 150 jobs. Tax revenues to be generated by the plant in budgets at all levels for 2010-2020 are estimated at 2.5 billion rubles. The plant’s products are scheduled to be used in building Olympic facilities for the 2014 Olympics in Sochi.

Vnesheconombank’s participation in financing projects in the construction materials industry by way of creating enterprises manufacturing advanced energy-efficient construction materials with high operating performance, which reduce construction and operating costs, helps to implement the National Program “Affordable and Comfortable Housing – to Russia’s Citizens”.

LLC GRAS-Saratov was established to implement the project to build an aerated autoclaved concrete products in the Saratov region.
