OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2010. Another one model of NEFAZ buses produced by OJSC KAMAZ’s subsidiary in Neftekamsk (Bashkortostan) is one of 100 Best Goods of Russia.

This is a NEFAZ-52998 first-class long-base low-entrance urban bus accommodating 140 passengers, with 39 seats and a rear engine location (DAF PE 265C, 300 h.p.). This 15-meter long bus is even handier than 12-meter long buses, due to its three axles one of which is maneuvering. A special version of this bus was also developed for conveyance of handicapped people.

The new model is one more example of a successful combination of KAMAZ Group’s own developments and components made by the world’s leading producers. This is the ninth model of NEFAZ-5299 passenger buses which became the best good of Russia and which was promoted in the country’s market.

Achievements of NEFAZ bus producers made their products popular in even remote regions of the country, far from Povolzhye and Ural Regions. In December, NEFAZ will deliver 8 buses to Khabarovsk. This is not only NEFAZ’s gift to its customers living on the Amur River for New Year’s Day, but also a result of the fact that the enterprise won a tender for delivery of passenger transport to the capital of the Far East. By the way, NEFAZ buses for the first time appeared in that region only a year ago.
