OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2010. In the course of the 43rd meeting of the Council of the Heads of Telecommunications Administrations of the Regional Commonwealth in the Field of Communications, Minister of Telecom and Mass Communications Igor Shchegolev and Intersputnik’s Director General Vadim Belov signed an agreement entered into by and between the Russian Telecommunications Administration and the Intersputnik International Organization of Space Communications.

This agreement governs the conditions and procedure of the performance by the Telecommunications Administration of the Russian Federation of the functions of the Notifying Administration acting on behalf of a group of telecommunications administrations of the member countries of Intersputnik.
