OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2010. The delegation of the International Airport Novosibirsk (Tolmachevo) has talk about the prospects of cooperation with new airlines at Routes Development Forum in Vancouver (Canada).

The 16th World Routes Development Forum was in Vancouver (Canada). Delegations of the largest international airports, passenger and cargo airlines took participate in this event. The place of international forum was Vancouver Convention Centre.

Representatives of the Novosibirsk airport (Tolmachevo) held more than thirty meetings with the management of aviation companies, introduced the participants with the prospects of development of the Siberian air hub, and discussed possible areas of cooperation with the new carriers.

Meetings were held with such airlines as Lufthansa, El Al Israel Airlines, Hainan Airlines, Finnair, Japan Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Egypt Air, etc. At the meetings, in particular, discussed the possibility of opening new flights from Novosibirsk in areas such as Tel- Aviv, Frankfurt, Prague, Istanbul, Cairo, Helsinki, Riga and other cities.

Representatives of Airport Tolmachevo also discussed the implementation of technical and commercial landings in Novosibirsk, with the cargo airlines as Air Bridge Cargo, Air Atlanta Icelandic, Amerijet, UPS, Jade Cargo International.

The format of direct negotiations, practiced on Routes, allows the parties as quickly identify the most relevant topics for further detailed discussion and identify further ways of development of enterprises.
