OREANDA-NEWS. November 26, 2010. The forum of business circles of Uzbekistan and Spain was held in Tashkent. The event was organized by the Ministry for Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan.

The representatives of the two countries discussed cooperation in trade, transport, communications, oil and gas, agriculture, machinery bulding, science, tourism and other areas.

The businessmen considered issues of creation of new joint ventures, increasing bilateral trade volumes and implementing new projects.

The Spanish side was provided with information on the possible areas of investments in the Uzbek economy and preferences for foreign investors in the Navoi free industrial zone.

The membets of the Spanish delegation visited a number of ministries and departments of Uzbekistan for talks on expansion of relations.
