OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2010. The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders of the MICEX SE terminated the authority of Konstantin Korischenko as the CEO of the MICEX Stock Exchange. The MICEX shareholders elected Marina Medvedeva as the CEO of the MICEX SE. The term of office of the newly elected CEO is from November 10, 2010 till the date of the AGM of shareholders of the MICEX Stock Exchange in 2012.

This decision is another step towards further consolidation of the MICEX Group. In the framework of the development strategy of the MICEX Group, it is planned to start the process of combining the MICEX and the MICEX SE. For the MICEX Group this will be an important step in the building of a holding company structure and converting to a single share.
