OREANDA-NEWS. November 25, 2010. As a result of Ukrainian-Egyptian negotiations, Ukraine won the right to develop two oil fields in Western Sahara.

The Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt Ahmed Nazif announced that at the Sixth meeting of the Intergovernmental Ukrainian-Egyptian commission on economic and scientific-technical cooperation.

"I would like to highly evaluate and appreciate our bilateral cooperation in oil and gas sector, in particular, I would like to note the contract signed with the company Naftogaz of Ukraine on exploration and production of oil in Western Sahara" - Ahmed Nazif said.
