OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2010. CJSC Savinsky Tsement Plant has posted the following production results the 9 month period: clinker production – 187 thousand tons, cement production – 267.6 thousand tons and dispatches – 283.9 thousand tons. 

Considering that cement grinding has been in process since as late as March and the plant’s kilns were not launched into operation until May, over the spring-summer operating cycle the plant managed both to mirror the previous year’s output levels and to show a superior performance for a range of production targets. Thus, in particular, cement production and cement dispatches were respectively 23.2 thousand tons and 20.4 thousand tons up on the same period a year ago. 

 Over the recent few years the plant has certified 8 cement grades representing the entire cement product line. TSEM II/A-SH 32.5 N cement with its civil, housing and agricultural construction applications as prefab reinforced concrete, foundations, beams, slabs, wall panels and other products and thanks to its frost/water resistance retains its No. 1 position among construction firms. From year to date this grade has accounted for 72% of the plant’s total cement production.

 This year the Arkhangelsk, Vologda and Murmank Regions in Russia’s North-west Province remain on top of the list of the major customers for ‘savinsky’ cement. For promotion purposes and to further and expand interregional and international ties Savinsky Cement Plant showcased its products at the 9th interregional exhibition Margaritinskaya Fair in Arkhangelsk and at the 6th international exhibition SEVTEK-2010 (SEVTEK stands for the Northern Fuel and Energy Complex) in Murmansk as part of the 2nd Arctic Murmansk Economic Forum.
