OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2010. With support from the Bank of Moscow, the 4th All-Russia competition "Mission possible. Your calling is a financial expert!" organized by the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation in collaboration with Rossijskaya Gazeta, has been launched.

Under the conditions of the Competition, pupils studying under the general educational secondary (full) programme in educational institutions of the Russian Federation can take part. The winners of the Competition are given free places in higher educational institutions.

This year, the All-Russia Competition has achieved the status of being included on the draft List of academic competitions for school pupils. This will allow the winners and prize recipients to enter any relevant higher educational institution in the country and the Financial University to have the most talented competitors join the ranks of its students.

As previously, the Competition will go through two stages. During first remote stage, all participants who register on the website of the Financial University must submit a written work on economics by 31 January 2011. Then, on 22 February 2011, the jury will select the best of these and publish the list of winners on the Rossijskaya Gazeta website www.rg.ru and the Financial University website www.internet-konkurs.fa.ru. The second stage, requiring the participant’s presence, will be held in Moscow at the Financial University on 27-28 March 2011.

The results of the Competition will be decided on 29 March 2011, when the names will be announced of those who have won the right to study at the Financial University.

So far since the Competition’s inception, about 2,500 school pupils from different regions of the country have taken part in it and over 50 of them are now successfully studying at the Financial University.
