OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2010. Metalloinvest Holding’s subsidiaries have won a large number of prizes in the corporate communications competitions held within the 16th International Industrial Exhibition Metall-Expo’2010.

“The Worker’s Tribune”, a newspaper of Lebedinsky Mining and Processing Plant (LGOK), has been awarded for the best corporate periodical in the ore mining industry. “The Metallurgist”, a newspaper of the Ural Steel plant, has been nominated for the best corporate periodical of steel and hardware plants.

Oskol Elektrometallurgical Plant (OEMK) and Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant (MGOK) were nominated for the best publications in the steel industry. OEMK presented to the competition its album named “OEMK – a Plant of High Social Efficiency”. MGOK was awarded for its two publications – the album named “We were Chosen by the Time. A Dedication to the First Tonne of Iron Ore Mined at the Mikhailovskoe Deposit of the Kursk Magnetic Anomaly” and a set of postcards “Mikhailovsky Mining and Processing Plant”.

Comfortable and functional stand of the Metalloinvest Holding has won a Memorial Cup of Metall-Expo’2010 exhibition as one of the best expositions. Additionally, a highly professional products and services presentation at the stand has received a special Diploma of the Exhibition’s Organizing Committee.
