Acron Announces 1H 2011 Fertiliser Price Cap for Russian Farmers
OREANDA-NEWS. November 24, 2010. The companies of the Acron Group have set a price cap for their mineral fertiliser sales to Russian farmers in accordance with the Cooperation Agreement signed between the Russian Fertiliser Producers Association and the Russian Agro-Industrial Association. This agreement is aimed at meeting domestic farmers’ demand for mineral fertilisers in 2008-2012.
In the first half of 2011 the cap price for ammonium nitrate will go up to RUB 6,310 per tonne and the cap price for urea will go up to RUB 9,230 per tonne (the prices are FCA plant, bulk, excluding transportation costs and VAT).
Currently Acron Group cannot declare a cap price for NPK (16:16:16) complex mineral fertiliser because it has yet to sign 2011 potassium chloride supply contracts.
In 2009 and 2010 the domestic NPK price remained unchanged at RUB 10,200 per tonne.
