OREANDA-NEWS. November 23, 2010. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov is convinced that the Tax Code adopted by Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine is the most liberal tax legislation in Europe. The Head of Government said that speaking at the Ukrainian-Belgian business forum in Kyiv.

"We can safely say that this tax code is most liberal in Europe" - Mykola Azarov emphasized.

He recalled that the Tax Code provides significant reduction in effective taxes: "We have reduced almost twice the number of existing taxes in Ukraine. We lowered tax rates of the major types of taxes. Covering four years, the income tax rate will decrease gradually from 25% to 16%. We reduce the VAT rate - by 1% per year. We eliminated many administrative procedures, we have simplified them, we have legally ensured equality of taxpayers in front of the law, solving of almost all the matters is within the jurisdiction of the court."

Meanwhile, Prime Minister stressed that a compromise solution will be found for all the disputes: "We are ready for constructive dialogue and I think we will solve absolutely all the problems in the near future."
