OREANDA-NEWS. Starting with December 29th Air Moldova airline will operate scheduled flights to the capital of Bulgaria. The flight to Sofia will be operated by the new Embraer 190 aircraft with a frequency of one flight per week on Wendsdays, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The launching of schedules flights Chisinau -Sofia-Chisinau is due to the cooperation between Air Moldova and top tour operators from our country. It is for the second consecutive year when angencies can offer packages to Bulgarian ski resorts with direct flight from Chisinau.

Holiday packages, which include airfare, can be purchased at travel agencies in Chisinau and other towns of Moldova.

Air Moldova airline operates direct flights to 17 destinations - Frankfurt, Vienna, Bucharest, Istanbul, Lisbon, Madrid, London, Athens, Larnaca, Rome, Milan, Verona, Paris, Moscow, St.Petersburg, Munich and Kiev, offering to its passengers two Class of service - Business and Economy.

Air Moldova is the biggest Moldavian airline and it has more than 50 % of air transportations registered on the national market.

From 10th of May, Air Moldova’s fleet was increased by a brand new aircraft Embraer 190 that arrived on base airport in Chisinau directly from manufacturer. The aircraft was named "Stefan cel Mare" during inauguration ceremony.
