OREANDA-NEWS. November 22, 2010. The employees of Bank SNORAS International Business Division and the representative office of the bank in Ukraine arranged in Kyiv a conference for the bank’s partners “Bank SNORAS. Stability in the epoch of changes”, reported the press-centre of Bank SNORAS.

During the conference, Marius Janukonis – the representative of the Republic of Lithuania Ministry of Foreign Affairs – spoke about the economic and political situation in Lithuania, the priority directions of economic development as well as investment opportunities for foreign investors, while the representatives of Bank SNORAS and the representative office in Ukraine introduced the products of the investment Bank “Finasta” – the company of Bank SNORAS and subsidiary group.

During the event, independent experts in their reports familiarized the participants of the conference with the legal and financial issues of companies’ activity in Lithuania. Great interest was expressed towards the reports of Bank SNORAS and Bank “Finasta” specialists about letters of credit and guarantees – especially relevant banking products in the international trade. Bank SNORAS representatives also familiarized the participants of the event with the legal base of the Republic of Lithuania and the provisions of Bank SNORAS policies on “Money Laundering Prevention” and “Know Your Customer”.

“Ukraine is a country having a large market, and it is associated with Lithuania via close economic and political relations. Bank SNORAS seeks to contribute to promoting business relations between Lithuania and Ukraine and, while offering professional financial instruments, to assist businessmen of both countries to implement their activity plans. We have noticed that Ukrainian business representatives especially appreciate that SNORAS, despite being a large bank, manages to devote attention to every corporate client and to offer an individual solution,” said Natalija Platonova, the Vice President of Bank SNORAS and the main organizer of the event.

In her opinion, the cooperation based on such principles is appreciated by businessmen in all countries of CIS; therefore, this conference also became an excellent opportunity to find common points of interest between the state institutions, business representatives and bankers.

It is the first AB Bank SNORAS conference devoted to the bank’s partners (consultants), which was organized in Ukraine. Most consultants frequently participate in such events and have something to compare – their feedback only shows once again that the conference level was fairly high and we can hope that the future tradition to arrange similar conferences “in places” will bring marvellous results. It is a modern model of directly introducing services and products, which complies with the requirements of a good banking practice.
