OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2010. Two new STS cranes produced by Konecranes Corporation (Finland) were delivered to Ust-Luga Container Terminal (ULCT).

Today ULCT is completely equipped with the cranes scheduled for the terminal’s first phase with the capacity of 440 000 TEU (4 STS, 11 RTG, 2 RMG).

The cranes were delivered in fully erected condition from Konecranes’ plant in Hanko. They have the same technical specifications as the cranes delivered to the terminal in September of 2009:
Lifting capacity under spreader – 50 t;
Seaside boom outreach – 40 m (PANAMAX container vessels handling);
Landside boom outreach – 15 m;
Span of the crane – 30 м;
Temperature conditions -40С…+40
