OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2010. In January — October 2010, freight traffic by JSC Freight One amounted to 248.5 million tonnes, which is a 1.3 increase as compared to the same last-year period.

For 10 months’ period the Company has shipped 83.0 mmt of hard coal (+34.4%); 61.6 mmt of oil freight (+21.1%), 21.5 mmt of ore (+18.1%), 15.9 mmt of ferrous metals (+100/7%), 7.5 mmt of timber freight (+26.8%), 13.6 mmt of construction materials (+5.6%), 5.4 mmt of chemical and mineral fertilizers (+30.9%), 13.8 mmt of cement (+30.8%), 3.6 mmt of coke (+ 147.5%) and 22.6 mmt of other freight.

In October of the current year, JSC Freight One transported 27.9 mmt of freight. The Company’s share in the freight traffic over Russian Railways network comprised 23.6%.

According to the estimates, by the end of 2010 JSC Freight One will have transported about 300 mmt of freight.
