OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2010. State Transport Company Rossiya traditionally switched over to its autumn/winter schedule, and it is ready to offer its passengers a wide geography of flights to the cities of Russia, the CIS and Europe. Company has also increased the flight frequency on a number of popular routes and introduced some interesting novelties.

The high economic activity of the regions and their geographical remoteness favors the development of air traffic, and for this reason, new flights to Surgut and Perm were included in the schedule of our airlines. These novelties will be also appreciated by transfer passengers who will get an opportunity to travel further on domestic and international flights of our company.

The map of flights to the CIS countries has also expanded – we started to perform flights to Kulyab (Tajikistan) and Karshi (Qarshi) (Uzbekistan), and early in November, these flights will become regular.

This winter, as compared to the last year schedule, STC Rossiya will increase the frequency of flights to Rome, Milan and Kiev: on each flight day two flights will be carried out.

Flights to Murmansk and Arkhangelsk will be also performed twice a day – in the morning and in the evening, which will make them popular, first of all, among businessmen. The flights to Yekaterinburg, Rostov, Krasnodar, Mineralnye Vody, Novy Urengoy and Nizhnevartovsk will also become more frequent. On most of these routes advanced Russian-Ukrainian short-range aircraft An-148 will be operated for the first time, and it will surely guarantee a safe and comfortable flight to our passengers.

In autumn/winter schedule 2010/2011, tourists will be traditionally interested in regular flights to Sharm el-Sheikh, Ovda and Dubai. For those people who go in for mountain skiing we operate flights to Salzburg, Sofia and Barcelona, located very close to ski resorts. We will also carry out charter flights to Goa in India.

Within the framework of strategic partnership with Aeroflot JSC, starting from November 04, 2010, Rossiya airlines will launch new FV 113 flight on the route Moscow – Berlin. The departure time from Sheremetyevo Airport will be 12:35, and the time of arrival in the capital of Germany – 13:15. The departure time of return flight FV 114 from Berlin will be 14:05, and time of arrival in Moscow – 18:35.
