OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2010. The Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov holds a meeting, where all the comments to the Tax Code would be considered. In particular, from businesses operating under the simplified system and protest against the adoption of this document.

"Today, I will hold a meeting where we, together with all who developed the Tax Code, which means- the Vice-Premiers, ministers will consider all the comments" - Mykola Azarov emphasized. He added that yesterday the Leader of the Party of Regions faction in the Parliament, Alexander Efremov met with protesters and handed for consideration of the Cabinet the comments to the Tax Code, which he had received from them.

Mykola Azarov noted that the Government took into account many suggestions to the draft Tax Code, which were brought by representatives of business, and it is a compromise document. "We are willing to compromise, but we are saying we want that there was order in our country, that all were paying all the taxes and contributions to the Pension Fund. This is our main demand"- he said.

The PM informed that the simplified taxation system is often used by the businessmen who receive large incomes, particularly in the restaurant business, jewellery retail, real estate and more.

"It's time to apply the civilized norms that are applied in all countries. We go there firmly and recommend it to all entrepreneurs who are now working on simplified taxation system, to rebuild - switch to civilized norms of doing business, participate in formation of the Pension Fund and all the social programs of our country"- the Prime Minister concluded.
