OREANDA-NEWS. November 19, 2010. In October, 2010 on regular flights of Air Moldova airline were transported 41 000 passengers, that is by 24 % more in comparing with the similar period of 2009, reported the press-centre of Air Moldova.

The largest growth of passenger traffic was recorded on direction Chisinau-Milano (+128%), Chisinau-London (+77%), Chisinau-Bucharest (+62%), Chisinau- Moscow (+36), Chisinau-Paris (+35%), Chisinau- Larnaca and Chisinau-Istanbul (+14%).

Almost 1000 persons used in October the flights Air Moldova from Moscow, St.-Petersburg, Kiev and Bucharest to Europe by stopping over in the Chisinau International Airport that becomes a transit airport. In the period from January to October 2010 there were transported 7 765 transit passengers.

In October 2010, the volume of cargo and mail transported by Air Moldova consisted 104 tons, indicating an increase of 35% in comparing with the similar period of 2009.
