Danske Bank to Open Office in Moscow
OREANDA-NEWS. November 18, 2010. Danske Bank will have a presence in Moscow from 1 January 2011 when its St. Petersburg-based Russian subsidiary, ZAO Danske Bank, opens an office in the city centre, reported the press-centre of Danske Bank.
“We are establishing the office to serve our Nordic corporate customers out of Moscow,” says Mads Jacobsen, Managing Director of Danske Bank’s International Banking department. “So far, we have been able to work with these customers out of St. Petersburg, but they have been very keen to receive our services also from Moscow."
The manager of the Moscow office will be Nicolai Franck (aged 33), currently corporate relationship manager at the St. Petersburg subsidiary.
Danske Bank has been operating in Russia since 2007, when the Bank took over the subsidiary in St. Petersburg as part of its acquisition of Sampo Bank in Finland.
