OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2010. One of the airport’s leading partner airline Singapore Airlines has changed airfield fuel operator to Domodedovo Fuel Services (DFS). The airline highly appreciated quality of its work and services provided. Previously Singapore Airlines planes were fueled by another company.

The main objective of Domodedovo Fuel Services - which is a part of Moscow Domodedovo Airport – is a non-stop and safe fueling of aircraft by certified petroleum pursuant to international standards.

Moscow Domodedovo Airport is one of a few in Russia operating central aircraft fueling system providing fully automated process. There are pipelines hidden under the apron connecting fuel tanks and ramps. The aircraft fuel system capacity is 900 cubic meter per hour while fuel tank facilities estimate up to 34 000 tons.

A multi-level filter system and all stages quality control are provided by Domodedovo Fuel Services as well.
