OREANDA-NEWS. November 17, 2010. Kontinent-Sibir newspaper (No.39 (681), October 2010) has published a survey of leading regional lending banks in the Siberian Federal District (SFD) as they were ranked after six months of the year: in the paper’s rankings, Sviaz-Bank rose to fourth place among the region’s 70 lending organizations surveyed in the dynamics of loan debt owed to them on July 1, 2010, and was named one of the leaders in the absolute growth in loan amounts, with 3 billion 763 million rubles (101% growth since the year beginning), and placed in the Progressing Banks category, reported the press-centre of Sviaz-Bank.

Sviaz-Bank was 13th in the amount of debt owed to it by legal entities, or 9.8 billion rubles on July 1 – 115% growth since January 1. Sviaz-Bank is 16th, with 11.2 billion rubles, in the total amount of loan debt owed to it on July 1, 2010.

The paper’s experts also note that Sviaz-Bank is one of the most active banks that are building up their financial support for their Siberian branches – 3.1 billion rubles of growth in net transfers each.

Sviaz-Bank has eight regional branches in the Siberian Federal District, in particular, in Irkutsk, Krasnoyarsk, Novosibirsk, Omsk, Tomsk, Chita, Buryatia, and Tuva.
